Receiving Clerk
Job Description Kelly Services, an international staffing solutions company, is seeking a Receiving Clerk for our client in Fairfield, Ohio.
This is a first shift position from 6 am-2:
30 pm and will pay up to $14 per hour.

Responsible for the accuracy and control of incoming and outgoing materials from vendors and customers.
Verifies quantity and quality of incoming materials and notifies Purchasing of any deviations.
Confirms accuracy and count of outgoing customer shipments and notifies QA and Sales of any deviations.
May process customer returns as required.
May be involved in the placement of received goods into inventory stores.
Duties & Responsibilities1.
Package items for shipping in cartons, skids or crates.
2.
Build all special skids or crates that are required for shipment.
3.
Package UPS orders.
4.
Package items on skids that are to be returned for credit.
5.
Weigh items ready to ship.
6.
Apply all shipping labels to skids, cartons and crates.
7.
Load shipments on trucks and complete proper paperwork.
8.
Maintain shipping supplies by notifying Traffic Manager when items are low.
9.
Maintain housekeeping of shipping area.
10.
Other duties may include:
a.
Unload incoming freight (except steel).
b.
Check receipt for quantity being received and for damage to shipments before signing delivery receipt.
c.
Cross-train on Receiving Clerk responsibilities.
