Participation in hands-on product development, customer product demonstrations, cost reduction and continuous process improvement will be expected as well as any other.
Design and physical production of bench top and test production samples that accurately mimic production line / fully commercialized products.
Design, plan, and physically assist with product and process improvement activities.
Utilization of statistics to define physical parameters of products developed and for process improvement after commercialization.
Data entry and file maintenance.
Physical assistance in pilot and production line tests, commercialization of new products on the production lines and in continuous improvement efforts on the production lines.
Other relevant duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM B.
S.
of Food Science, Meat Science or related degree, M.
S.
or Ph.
D a plus 10
years of product development experience minimum, further processed poultry and red meat preferred.
Highly motivated, proactive work ethic.
Bi-lingual language skills a positive.
Computer skills in Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point.
Basic knowledge of statistics.
Must be willing to work early morning hours, evening hours and weekends when necessary.
Must be willing to travel (approximately 30%).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
and stand for extended THE ENVIRONMENT YOU CAN EXPECT You will be working in a manufacturing facility.
