Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, founded in 1916, is one of the largest providers of rehabilitation services in the State of Ohio.
Utilizing our retail store network, we generate sales revenue to support thousands of individuals with disabilities and homeless local veterans.
The Lead Clerk will perform a variety of tasks related to retail sales including selling merchandise, assisting customers, operating cash register, training new employees, supervising employees and handling management responsibilities, and other tasks as needed.
High School diploma or equivalency preferred; retail experience preferred.
Supervisory experience helpful.
Must be able to understand and effectively communicate the English language.
Must have good math skills and good interpersonal skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform at a high standard of productivity.
This position requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and being able to lift up to 25 lbs.
This position requires a rotating flexible schedule based on the needs of the business to include days, evenings, and weekends.
Must have open availability.
Able to work weekends.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
